Engineering

Electrical Engineer
Under supervision to analyze, model, simulate, and design switch mode power supplies, and develop new generation of cost-effective ac/dc, dc/dc, dc/ac, and ac/ac conversion circuits.  Perform new power supply testing, evaluation, and failure analysis. Conduct failure rate calculation and analysis, and MTBF reliability analysis, applying knowledge and principles of electric circuits, fundamental physics, and power electronics theories. Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering. 

Electronics Design Engineer Responsible for analyzing, modeling, simulating, designing and developing switching power supplies for our customers, and designing as well as developing new generation of cost-effective ac/dc, dc/dc, dc/ac, and ac/ac conversion circuits with superior performance. Design and develop single and poly-phase high -frequency, switch-mode off-line converters and inverters that exhibit superior efficiency, high power density, and high reliability. Design and develop the low-voltage/high-current circuits for the next generation of microprocessors. Involve in the design and development of power conversion circuits for portable electronics, and work on the development on various electronic ballast circuits and other lighting circuits. Requirements: BS in Electronic Engineering and two (2) years experience in switching power supply design and development and demonstrate the ability of theoretical and practical application of electrical engineering, electronics, circuits, systems, design and logic.

Electronics Product Engineer
Responsible for designing and developing switch mode power supplies, including standard and custom designs. Analyze, model, simulate, and design switch mode power supplies, and develop new generation of cost-effective ac/dc, dc/dc, dc/ac, and ac/ac conversion circuits; perform new power supply testing, evaluation, and failure analysis; conduct power supply failure rate calculation and analysis, and MTBF reliability analysis, applying knowledge and principles of electrical engineering and the fundamental physics theories. Requirements: BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering and two (2) years experience with the theoretical and practical application of electrical engineering, physics, electronics, circuits, systems, design and logic in the power supply field.

Engineering Manager
Utilize broad expertise and unique knowledge of switching power supply and networking products to establish an application engineering team and contribute to development of company objectives and achieve engineering as well as business goals in effective ways. Participate in Project management and coordinate strategic account support programs and activities, involving AC/DC switching power supply application,
specification definition, hardware engineering as well as system level testing. Lead the team to provide comprehensive local technical support from Design Architecture to Manufacturing Engineering, local project management and new business penetration. Coordinate customers’ technical requirements and business prospects when prioritizing engineering developmental projects. Build up customer relationship in order to secure successful customer production ramp up. Requirements: BSEE and five (5) years progressive experience in Frond-End AC/DC switching power supply design and project management, including architecture of switching power supply, circuit efficiency, thermal management , flyback topology, electromagnetic compatibility, and familiar with the tools of digital oscilloscope, EMI measurement receivers, programmable AC source, electronic loads, and circuitsimulators.

Engineering Program Manager
To assist in the technical management of key customer accounts. Coordinating engineering group functions including design concept, prototype development, manpower assignment and scheduling for these key accounts. Strong power supply technical background with previous power supply team leader experience is required.

Mechanical Engineer
Responsible for designing mechanical assemblies for AC/DC switching power supply products, including plastic housings and assemblies, heat-sinks, u-brackets, dc cord-sets, and transformers, using auto-CAD and software. Review and analyze engineering design schematics and supporting documents, such as logic diagrams and design rules. Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of Auto-cad and PRO-E required.

Operations Research Analyst
Report to management and help the company to determine most efficient ways to use of money, materials, equipment, facilities and people by applying analytical methods from mathematics, science, engineering and management.  Develop, design, maintain, coordinate and implement reporting systems for business operations and internal management. Analyze problems in terms of management information and conceptualize and define problems.  Study information and select plan from competitive proposals that affords maximum profit and/or effectiveness. Conduct data collection and presentation that involves the creation of design specifications.  Assess data through a variety of databases and the creation of accurate, meaningful and relevant information for diverse audiences.  Perform information management, maintain integrity of data and work with other departments to acquire information. Prepare reports to management defining problem, evaluation, and possible solutions. Requirements: MS in Engineering Management

Product Safety Engineer
Job Duties: Product safety testing on IT equipment, office equipment applying worldwide safety standards and electromagnetic immunity, emission standards, and the knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Conduct research to evaluate safety levels for various electronic products; inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects; compile, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information or data; provide guidance and advice to management or other R&D/Design engineers on technical, systems, or process-related topics. Perform safety analysis and testing. Maintain safety lab's equipment, records, files, test results, calibration record. Review engineering documents (schematics, BOM, PCB layout and transformer diagrams, etc) for safety and advise/feedback various safety design approaches. Prepare/review and send to Safety Agencies safety submission documents & samples. Facilitate Safety/EMC queries locally and offshore. Coordinate/correspond orally and in writing with Safety Agencies on project submittals and on improving its cost, lead time and quality.  BSEE or Electronics & Communications plus 2 years related experience in product safety engineering field.

Sales/Application Engineer
To work with major accounts and provide sales department with technical support for standard and custom applications. Three years experience required.

Senior Design Engineer
To design AC/DC switching power supply products from 10W to 300W. Coordinating the initial design from concept to production.Three years experience minimum required.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer
To design AC/DC switching power supply products from 10W to 300W. Coordinating the design from initial concept to production. Previous low cost high volume electrical power supply design experience is required.

Senior DVT Engineer
To test and characterize AC/DC switching power supply products from 10W to 300W. Coordinating test verification of prototype and pre-production product. Previous power supply test, measurement and documentation experience is required.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
To design mechanical assemblies for AC/DC switching power supply products, including plastic housings and assemblies, heat-sinks, u-brackets, dc cord-sets, and transformers. Knowledge of Auto-cad and PRO-E required. Previous low cost high volume mechanical power supply design experience is required.

PCB Design Engineer

Sales and Marketing

Product Marketing Manager
Job Duties: Manage and direct all aspects of product marketing and product management for switch mode power supplies, including standard and custom power supplies products. Confer with customers and engineers to assess needs and determine requirements. Lead the marketing and sales force in respective territories and collaborate with the manufacturing in localizing product to regional markets. Design and implement marketing strategies; utilize established procedures and software to gather data, and track and forecast marketing trends; synthesize marketing input to create long term product vision and strategy; formulate strategies to introduce and implement a switching power supply product range; provide technical training to staff for the new range of power supply products. BSEE plus 5 years progressive experience in product marketing of power supplies electronics field.  Will accept applicant without degree but possess 9 years of work experience in the product marketing & sales of power supplies products.

Field Sales Rep
Motivated field sales engineer  for the Northern Californian area, with growth potential to Regional Sales Mgr.  Must be experienced in presentations to key account engineering personnel. BA or  BS degree.

Senior Stockroom Technician
To coordinate stockroom electrical and mechanical component storage. Previous stockroom, part kit and component tracking experience is required.

Credit Analyst

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for:

* Assessing customer credit standing, reviewing customer payment history and determining customer credit rating, and analyzing customer credit terms and payment history and making recommendations for credit terms adjustments.

* Managing and improving customer payment history by assessing and resolving customer payment issues.

* Analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending, prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit, and evaluating customer records and recommending payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity

* Conferring with credit association and other business representatives to exchange credit information, and generating financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers’ financial status.

* Comparing liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.

* Consulting with customers to resolve complaints and verifying financial and credit transactions.

Requirements:

* A baccalaureate or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.

* Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data;

* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

* Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

In support of the engineering group, the candidate must be Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once, demonstrating a sense of urgency and the ability to learn new systems quickly, and create improved efficiency within the office.  Must have excellent communication, writing and grammar skills, paying great attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and the Internet.

Firmware Engineer
Real-time embedded systems programmer/Software Lead, experienced in power supply and measurement applications. Ability to architect, plan, design, code, and test complex systems. Works with project engineers to determine requirements and integrate HW/SW. Must have proven ability to troubleshoot complex system level problems extending beyond specific areas of expertise. Solid programming capability in C/C++/Java is required. Familiarity with Microchip, TI,  Motorola uP’s, and their respective coding.  Domestic and international travel required.

Project Engineer
Analyze, model, simulate, design and develop switch mode power supplies (10W-2000W) from concept to production. Develop new generation of cost-effective AC/DC conversion circuits with superior performance.  Design and develop single and poly-phase high-frequency, switch-mode off-line converters and inverters for desktop, server, telecom, and motor drive applications that exhibit superior efficiency, high power density and high reliability. Use Pspice modeling and MathCAD. 

MS in Electrical Engineering plus two (2) years analog design experience, domestic and international travel required.

Electromechanical Design Engineer
Responsible for the PCB board and packaging design of AC/DC switching power supply products from 10W to 2000W. Three years minimum experience required. Knowledge of PCAD and Autocad necessary. Pro-E a plus.

Electronic Technician
Responsible for the testing, prototyping, and introduction to production of AC/DC switching power supply products, from 10W to 2000W. Relevant two-year degree required, and one year of minimum power supply testing experience required. Domestic and international travel required.
